Ooohh here’s another desirable laptop from Sony! But, are you ready for the new Sony VAIO X? This 11.1-inch device is again deemed to be a competitor in the “light” notebook department. Yup, Sony refers to it as a notebook and not a netbook. One thing’s for sure though, it’s a very stylish computing device! Its carbon-fibre body is so intricately done. Sony has it in gold, black and premium carbon.
Its performance seems to be equally impressive since it’s operates with a 2.0GHz Z550 Intel Atom processor that is matched with a 65GB/128GB SSD. A 1.6GHz Z530 and a 1.8GHz Z540 are also going to be offered soon. It will be available with Windows 7 options that include Home Premium and Professional.
Other great features offered by the Sony VAIO X include the multi-touch touchpad that can recognize scroll, pinch, flick, and zoom commands. For convenience it is equipped with two USB ports, Ethernet, VGA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio jacks, webcam, and an SD and Memory Stick card reader. It’s also integrated with 3G capability.
